There are a number of bars and restaurants in the village of Torreguadiaro ranging from traditional Spanish, Italian and International cuisines, all within easy walking distance and all serving delicious food. For wildlife enthusiasts there is a two hectare wetland area lagoon, the Natural Park of the Lagoon of Torreguadiaro, where migratory birds in their natural habitat can be observed from small cabins.

The Hotel Patricia has an Internet "cafe", with printing facilities.

KE's Restaurant at the Port of Sotogrande

The Port of Sotogrande is only 20 minutes walk along the sea shore or roadway. Here there is a newspaper and book shop, post office, cash machine's and various other shops, restaurants and bars. KE's restaurant, always open for coffees and breakfast is one of our favourites with outstanding views across the marina.

About a mile or so down the road, first turning off dual carriageway, is the town of Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro. It is walkable but you do have to trek along the main road, take some drinks with you. There are a selection of small supermarkets, shops and banks, along with various restaurants and bars. Super Cor, a larger supermarket, is on the opposite side of the road to Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro.

Further down the dual carriageway towards the outskirts of Algeciras is a retail shopping park containing, many big stores, a Carriefour supermarket and Leroy Merlin to mention just two.
